The Diameter of the roll is absolutely no indication of roll length. Footage is used to mask, not diameter. Masking paper Diameter is controlled by the machine winding the roll. Machine Glazed paper will provide an additional 20% solvent bleed-through protection compared to a standard or machine finished paper. So for a few dollars why risk it.
Only Masking paper  can supply a true (MG) - Don't be fooled (MG) paper eliminates paper fluff (fuzzies) during wet sanding. Masking paper converts all paper with sheer cut equipment which eliminates paper dust wrapped up in the roll during the cutting process. Most of our competitors utilize score cut equipment which creates paper dust within the roll as well as the carton. Only Masking paper has exclusive distribution rights of (MG) papers.

Masking paper introduced a new plastic wrapped pack to make it easy for our customer to private label, see the quality and the color of the product. If you do wish to use standard (MF) paper based strictly on price does offer standard masking paper.
